Princeton Research
Forum (PRF) is a community of independent scholars in the greater Princeton
area. PRF was founded in 1980 to facilitate the scholarship of its members
outside the academy. Members share their individual scholarly interests,
fellowship, and expertise. prf Provides a forum
for the presentation and discussion of members’ scholarly research in a
multidisciplinary environment Offers an
institutional affiliation for independent scholars and facilitates access to
research libraries, archives, and fellowships Serves as a
fiscal agent for the administration of members’ grants Sponsors
conferences, workshops, and exhibitions of interest to independent scholars
and the public PRF connects members to a network of colleagues through the National Coalition of Independent Scholars (NCIS), which is an affiliate of the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS). |
